The MidAmerica St. Louis Airport has been serving the southern Illinois region for more than 25 years, but the KBLV airfield has been the heart of the community even longer. The new BLV logo unites the best of the region’s military tradition and the airport’s primary MidAmerica brand. Combining the strong angles and bold vision of Scott Air Force Base with the colors and style of the commercial airport logo, BLV brings both of these local histories together—much in the same way that the runway connects these communities. The BLV shooting star, itself an evolution of the current MidAmerica star, keeps viewers looking to the future, optimistic about the things to come to this great airport.

BLV seeks to embody the MidAmerica region, its free spirit, its military roots. The new campaign will also highlight some of the biggest benefits of supporting your local airport.
