Recognized as one of the fastest-growing cargo airports in the country, SBD recently made the proactive decision to educate its community on airport activity. The Airport Authority asked Aviatrix Communications to develop a standalone outreach program, including creating a cheerful program brand that engages the community and shows the positive benefits of having SBD in the region. The result was the SBD Good Neighbor Program, a multifaceted program that provides two-way communications under a single brand. Aviatrix Communications designed Good Neighbor Program brand, its outreach strategy, program website, presentation templates, key messages, and reports regularly on program progress.

Notably, the SBD Good Neighbor Program took home Best Overall Public Relations Program (Small Airports) in the 2021 Airports Council International – North America Marketing and Communications Awards.
