Position Overview: 
We are seeking a talented Front End Website Developer to join our closely knit and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in WordPress and Elementor, along with a strong understanding of building user-friendly, secure, and fast websites. The candidate should also possess a general familiarity with website accessibility standards and privacy regulations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage support tickets and address client inquiries promptly and effectively. 

• Perform content updates on client websites as needed. 

• Layout and build new interior pages for client websites using limited plugins and a focus on performance, security, and user experience best practices. 

• Migrate content between websites efficiently and accurately. 

• Proactively review client websites to identify areas for improvement in layout, mobile responsiveness, security, performance, and accessibility. 

• Work independently and demonstrate self-motivation in completing tasks and identifying opportunities for website enhancements. 

• Troubleshoot plugins, third-party integrations, and website functionalities. 

• Assist with website maintenance tasks such as plugin and theme updates, prioritizing security patches and updates. 

• Generate analytics reports for clients, set up custom reports, and measurements. 

• Install tags and have a basic understanding of Google Tag Manager. 

• Assist in pre- and post-launch tasks including website testing, creating redirects, and monitoring and fixing bugs. 

• Implement Search Engine Optimization strategies. 

• Create alt tags for images and validate that content is aligned with Section 508 requirements. 

• Perform basic performance optimization, including resizing of imagery. 

Requirements: 

• Proficiency in WordPress and Elementor. 

• Experience building easy-to-manage websites and custom post types. 

• Familiarity with accessibility standards and privacy regulations, ensuring ADA compliance. 

• Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for website improvements. 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. 

• Basic understanding of backend development concepts (e.g., Elementor loop grids, content filters, custom post types, and WordPress admin customization) is a plus. 

• Knowledge of JSON, PHP, and XML is desirable but not required. 

• Previous experience in the aviation industry is a bonus. 

Position Type: Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week, flexible scheduling)
