This spring we helped our friends at Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) launch a brand-new route. The Tri-Cities community had been asking for daily nonstop service to Los Angeles, and with the help of United Airlines, the airport was able to deliver. Such good news warranted a celebration, so the PSC team set out to delight the passengers on the inaugural flights. Aviatrix Communications was there to lend a hand–and a beach ball or two.
The gate event offered a burst of southern California sunshine in the Washington airport. The airport leaned into the beach theme, handing out bright branded sunglasses, creating a photo station with inflatable palm trees, and even bringing in a DJ to spin Beach Boys hits. County Commissioners and key leadership cut through a stunning cake to mark the start of the new route, and arriving passengers were greeted with custom cookies and luggage tags.
And everybody had fun, fun, fun, till the pilot flew the airplane away.
