The Charleston Regional Aviation Authority (CRAA) manages five airports in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. As the CRAA went through a complete rebrand, including for Charleston International Airport, Aviatrix Communications worked in parallel to build them a modern, accessible website that helped the new brand sing.

Launched in summer 2025, the new iflychs.com website captures the vitality of the new CCAA identity, embracing the colorful palette of Charleston’s Rainbow Row while maintaining a clean and soothing layout. A custom flight widget shares everything from the weather at the destination airport to baggage claim details for arrivals, and a Microsoft-based chatbot allows users to get answers to their questions easily and accurately. An interactive terminal map and parking reservation system round out the helpful web tools.

Crucially, the site was built to be compliant with the upcoming Title II federal standards for digital accessibility. The website exceeds Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards, which is a legal requirement for all US airport websites. Rather than simply utilize a third-party overlay, the site has been built to be accessible from the ground up. Everything from font size to keyboard navigability has been considered and tested, ensuring that everyone has equal access to the Authority’s information.
