Account Manager

Location: Remote (US-based applicants only)

Type: Individual Contractor (part to full time, no hiring or staffing firms)

Aviatrix Communications is a full-service marketing and communications agency specializing in aviation and community engagement. We partner with airports, public agencies, and consulting firms to deliver strategic communications, creative campaigns, and public outreach programs that inspire trust and connection.

Position Summary

The Account Manager will provide administrative, project coordination, and production support across a range of client accounts and agency initiatives. This position works closely with the Principal and Director of Operations to ensure projects run smoothly, deliverables are accurate and timely, and internal processes stay organized and efficient.

The Account Manager’s projects will include public relations, marketing and advertising, website development, event coordination, and other communications efforts. A strong understanding of communications strategies is essential to success.

Key Responsibilities

Project and Account Support

  • Account Management for aviation industry clients across multiple US time zones.
  • Provide account management coverage on web development projects, marketing and outreach programs.
  • Manage client-facing status reports, rounds of edits, proofing, and finalization for client deliverables such as campaigns, websites, annual reports and presentation materials.
  • Liaison between the agency and the client.
  • Assist with new business RFP responses to ensure compliance with submission guidelines, complete required forms, and proof documents for accuracy and professionalism.
  • Account Management support while Director of Operations or Agency Owner are out of office.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in project coordination, or account management roles (agency or communications environment preferred).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; experience with Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and project management tools a plus.
  • Ability to multitask across projects with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Professional, proactive, and collaborative work style.
  • Ability and equipment to work remotely.
