With the help of the Aviatrix Communications team, the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP)’s newest project is all going according to plan.

PSP officially launched its Airport Master Plan process in March 2023. The process is set to take place over the next two years and will update the airport’s current plan, which was previously completed in 2015. The airport has experienced tremendous growth in spite of the pandemic, and the City of Palm Springs needs the updated plan to support future demand, continue safe and efficient operations, and to address changes in the aviation industry at regional and national levels.

In order to effectively involve and engage the community, PSP requested a new website specifically about their new master plan. The Aviatrix team developed a thorough, vibrant website that includes helpful information about a topic that some could find pretty complex. The site includes information about the project’s goals, components, and timeline, as well as links to related documents and news releases. Most importantly, the community can provide their feedback on the airport master plan directly on the website. All comments and questions are recorded as part of the project’s public record. Questions are responded to directly and may even be used to update the website’s Frequently Asked Questions.

Through a steady stream of blog posts, meeting summaries, and project documents, the Aviatrix team will continue to update this important communications tool, and keep the Coachella Valley community informed about the PSP airport master plan.
