We help airports make their websites accessible, and we hold our own site to the same standard.
Our goal
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That goes a step beyond WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard the U.S. Department of Justice set for state and local government websites under ADA Title II.
What we do
- The site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA. It works with a keyboard alone and on phones, and it uses the headings, labels, and text descriptions that screen readers rely on.
- Colors meet contrast requirements, moving content can be paused, and animations stay still for visitors who ask their device for reduced motion.
- Before changes go live, we check pages with automated testing tools and by hand, with a keyboard.
Known limitations
- Some older news posts include images of text, such as event flyers and infographics, that may not have a full text description yet. We are adding descriptions as we go.
- Our contact form uses a third-party security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) that we don’t control. If it gets in your way, email us instead.
Tell us
If anything on this site is hard to use, email solutions@aviatrixcommunications.com with the page and what happened. We’ll get back to you and get you the information in a way that works for you.
